We will report on the quality of your data (how complete and immediately usable it is), the analytics that could be usefully performed and the financial value we estimate to your business if the results of such analytics were acted upon. We will also let you know if we think the analytics could be improved by collecting and including additional sources of data.
In addition, we will make suggestions on storing and managing your data better and the tools and technology to do that. Blooming Data typically advocates the use of technology-agnostic cloud-based solutions that work with your existing technical set-up.
How does it work?
The Data Snapshot process starts with a meeting with the client where we get to understand your organisation’s mission, strategy, products and services, customers/members/users, organisational set-up and the market in which you operate. Any relevant supporting written materials would be valuable for us to read.
We are also introduced to the relevant roles in your organisation who can answer data-related queries and begin to get acquainted with your data: what exists, where it’s currently stored and how accessible it is. Small samples would be useful to see along with data schemas, data dictionaries and any other written material that will aid our understanding of what the data includes, how it was collected and how it is currently stored.
Over the course of the next 2 weeks, Blooming Data will take a detailed look at your data – assuming access is granted to it – and will assess the additional business value that could be gained through data warehousing and analytics. Inevitably, additional questions will arise so we need to know that there are nominated technical and managerial contacts that can provide us with timely answers.

The Data Snapshot is offered to SMEs and non-profit organisations for only £950 excluding VAT.
Fixed prices are offered to all organisations based on their size and a quick assessment of the complexity of their data.

Guarantees
In addition to the fixed price guarantee, we also guarantee to deliver our report within two weeks from the later of completing the initial introductory meeting and getting access to your data. This assumes that any data-related queries will be fully and swiftly answered in a timely manner during these two weeks.
If after the initial meeting you decide not to proceed with the Data Snapshot or do not ultimately supply us with access credentials to your data, there will be no charge.
